CONSULTATION
Understanding what’s most important to you helps us plan, design and build a home that’s uniquely yours. Our team works closely with one another—and with you—to make sure we’re meeting your expectations of function, beauty and cost.
We’ll ask you to tell us about your dream home, but we’ll also ask about your family, how you like to spend your weekends and how often you welcome company. Is there something you absolutely need to have in your home? Someplace in particular you want to live? Whether that’s the name of a town or just a feeling you get when driving down your street, these small details help guide our thinking when we sit down to plan your home
COLLABORATION
Our conversations during consultation will confirm an initial budget and list of must-have features, from which our design team will begin to create a detailed floor plan. But we don’t do this alone—we want you to feel like you are part of the team and you will remain a key collaborator as details are defined for the interior and exterior of your home. As we build upon your initial inspiration, we will work to keep everyone informed of how each decision impacts the initial budget.
We’ll formally bid your home and create allowances once we’ve completed building a digital model using our advanced modeling software. The contract will be executed when the plans, specifications and budget have final approval.
SELECTION
At this stage, our in-house design consultant will put you in touch with local partners who can help bring your ideas to life. Based upon your preferences and personal style, we’ll help set up appointments with professionals who will guide you through the selection of flooring, appliances, fixtures and every other detail in your new home.
We only work with partners who supply best-in-class products and finishes. Every supplier we’ll refer has proven themselves to be an expert in the industry and has a willingness to keep you—and your budget—on track.
CONSTRUCTION
Building your home remains a collaborative process right through to the moment we hand you the keys.
Not only will you have a dedicated point of contact throughout construction, our software will allow you to stay in touch with that contact, track progress and view site photos. Periodically, we will schedule in-person walkthroughs so you can see exactly how your home is coming together. When you’re on site, you will be asked to share your thoughts on details like where light switches should go or how shelving is laid out in closets.
The contractors and suppliers who help us build your home share our passion for quality craftsmanship, and the relationships we’ve built with them are a cornerstone of our process. A process that—through years of experience—we have refined to ensure quality is never compromised as we work to deliver your home on time and on budget.
MOVE-IN
On closing day, we will do a final walkthrough, familiarizing you with your new home’s systems, functions, and features. We’ll make sure you have all the information needed for continued maintenance of your new home, including the contact information for trusted, skilled trades should you need their help and expertise.
The warranty on your home begins at closing, but our relationship is not over just because the home is built. During the warranty period, you will maintain access to the software we used to stay in touch during construction. Through this tool, you can track punch list items that need to be addressed and ask us questions if anything comes up.
